Name Variation  In a letter received from Ruth Ent, daughter of Rheba Crum Ent, she spelled her mother's name Rheba, with an "h". All documents viewed for Reba Hawk omit the "h". 
Birth*18 February 1883 Rheba P Crum was born on 18 February 1883. Rheba's daughters listed her birth year as 1883. Although her California death certificate listed it as 1884, her birth certificate confirms her birth as 18 Feb 1883.1,2 
1885 NJ census1885 She was living with her parents as of 1885 at Delaware Township, Hunterdon, NJG.3 
1895 NJ census1895 Twelve year old Rheba was living with her Uncle and Aunt, Isaac and Maggie Crum, at Delaware Township, Hunterdon, NJG.4 
1900 Census25 June 1900 She remained with her Uncle Isaac and Aunt Maggie through at least 25 June 1900.5

Reunioncirca 3 November 1924 She, her husband and three daughters, attended the Crum Family Reunion hosted by Isaac and Maggie Crum in honor of Isaac's brother, Daniel, who was visiting the East for the first time since moving to Kansas 47 years earlier.8 
1930 Census3 April 1930 She and William Ent appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Mt. Airy Road, Delaware Township, Hunterdon, NJG, enumerated 3 April 1930. Their daughter, Ruth E., was listed as living with them. William owned a farm that was worth about $9000 but they did not have a radio.9 
Event-MiscSeptember 1941 In Sep 1941, Cleve and Libby Crum began a six week cross country drive to visit Cleve's brothers, Hawley and Richard, who were living in Santa Monica, CA. Cleve's sister, Rheba Ent, and Rheba's daughter, Ruth, accompanied them.10 
Death*28 March 1959 Rheba died on 28 March 1959 at San Bernardino, CAG, at age 76. She died while visiting her brothers in California.11

Birth*17 February 1879 Richard Folke Crum was born on 17 February 1879 at 129 North Main Street, Lambertville, Hunterdon, NJG. He was named for the doctor who delivered him: Richard C. Foulke. According to the birth certificate, Anna had given birth to two children prior to the birth of Richard, but only one was living, Gussie.1

1930 Census*8 April 1930 By 8 April 1930, Richard and Mabel and their two children had moved to 746 21st Street, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, CAG. Their finances had improved since 1920 as they owned their home which was valued at $8500. Richard continued his employment as a carpenter.6 
1940 census*22 April 1940 The family of four had moved to another home at 844 25th Street, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, CAG by 22 April 1940. Richard was a carpenter working in building construction. He worked 52 weeks in 1939 and was paid $2400 for a 48 hour work week. Richard had completed eighth grade; Mabel had completed high school. The couple owned their home which was valued at $5000.8
